SGA/FOCUS Partners with Other Groups to Help Make a Difference in the Lives of Others

Silence hides Violence

 The SGA/FOCUS group has joined together with the members of Tri-County Pearls, an Interest Group of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and Jack and Jill of America, Inc. to communicate to others the importance of celebrating Domestic Violence Awareness Month.  Information about Domestic Violence will be read on the intercom during the month.  In addition to this, the groups are sponsoring a poetry contest.  The poems MUST BE about Domestic Violence and must be turned in to Ms. Roberts by October 26th. A certificate will be given to all participants and prizes will be given to the winners.  The top winning poem will be read over the intercom. Thanks for your support with this effort and help us get the word out... Stop Domestic Violence.
