LIBRARY HOURS -- MONDAY - FRIDAY 7:15a.m. - 2:45p.m.

USE OF THE MEDIA CENTER

• Students may use the center before school, at lunch, and during class
• The center is open during all lunch waves
• Students are to use the computers for research only
• Four computers are available for research, AR testing, and card catalog search
• A printer is available and copies may be made for 15 cents a copy

The Alabama Virtual Library provides all students, teachers, and citizens of the State of Alabama with online access to esstential library and information resources.  It is primarily a group of online databases that have magazine, journal, and newspaper articles for research.  Through the AVL, an equitable core of information sources is available to every student and citizen in Alabama, raising the level of excellence in schools and communities across the state. 

The Alabama Virtual Library can be accessed through school computers or home computers.  To access the AVL at home, a person must have an AVL card.  AVL cards may be obtained by students through the media specialist at school.
